Russell Holstine, Kingman, received word Sunday that the body of his brother, Sgt. John C. Holstine, formerly of Georgetown, Oakwood and Boswell, will arrive in Georgetown Thursday morning and funeral services will be held from the Houghton Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Friday. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 2 to 9 p.m. Sgt. Holstine died August 14, 1942 in a hospital in the British Isles from injuries suffered in an airplane accident. He had served eight months with the U. S. Air Force. He was born April 23, 1920, the son of John and Mary Jane Holstine. Surviving are the brother, Russell; two other brothers, Warren of Chicago and Frank of Tilton, Ill.; and aunt, Mrs. Russell Sanders of Westville, Ill.; and an uncle, Buren Holstine of Georgetown. – thanks to S&E
